Government Affairs Committee Meeting  Guest Speaker: Chief Derek Bergsten  Poudre Fire Authority & Poudre Valley Fire Protection District

Join us as Fire Chief Derek Bergsten provides an overview of the Fire District’s upcoming ballot measure. The initiative asks voters to remove the new statutory revenue cap established by the Colorado General Assembly. Without voter approval, this cap will limit the District’s ability to use future revenue increases to support emergency services.

Chief Bergsten will also share the District’s summer outreach efforts, highlight the services they provide, and discuss how the initiative may impact long‑term fire and emergency response in our community.
